What the Roads Are Actually Like

We think visitors deserve honest information rather than a sales pitch.

Flat Roads (East Side, Town Area)

Manageable for most riders with basic scooter experience. Mostly paved, light traffic. Great for exploring local villages and east coast beaches.

West Coast Roads (Kelingking, Broken Beach)

Steep, some sections still unpaved, sharp corners with no guardrails. These roads have caused accidents for inexperienced riders. We recommend a driver for these routes.

General Tips

Ride slowly — there's no rush on a beautiful island
Watch for dogs crossing the road, especially at night
Avoid riding after dark — road lighting is poor
Always lock your bike when parked at tourist spots
